Grammy nominated rapper Nipsey Hussle was killed in a shooting in Los Angeles according to NBC News. According to multiple reports the shooting occurred at a store he owns called Marathon Clothing.
The rapper was shot six times. Although he is known to be associated with The Rollin 60's Neighborhood Crips, it is unclear rather or not the shooting is gang related. Icon City was able to obtain exclusive video of paramedics on the scene trying to revive the writer. Sources say the Los Angeles rapper was filming a documentary. The assailant is still on the loose. Reported to be a black male in his twenties.

Born Ermias Asghedom, the LA native gained notoriety for his gritty portrayal of area gang violence. Later after beginning a public relationship with actress Lauren London and birthing a song:t he couple earned the moniker "west coast Beyonce and Jay-Z". Our condolences to the family.
