Earlier this year openly gay rapper and social commentator released his debut album "No Faux" after the lead single "Yass Lawt" went viral the previous year. Fans and critics have complimented Elites gay affirming lyrics and radio friendly production. Spotify even included the album's title track on their official year end list.
Now for the first time Anye is sharing behind the scenes footage of the albums creation. The 20 min video is both uplifting and dark as Elite splices studio footage with hard to watch images from L.A.'s skid row and last month's Charleston protest. After a few minute it becomes clear that Anye Elite's No Faux is half love story and half commentary on the political and social state of America. Check it out below:
